The event was sanctioned and calendared by FISA and feature FISA certified judges. The event was run on the FISA World Masters template. The course was 1,000 meters, offered six fully buoyed lanes and all races were handheld starts. The event was organized by the Outgames Regatta Organising Committee with support from Rowing Canada, Aviron Québec, the Montreal Rowing Club (MRC), and Odawagan, the GLBT rowing crew of MRC. Competition was open to men and women, age 18 - 99. Race events were held for single sex boats and mixed boats. There were no adaptive entries. Boat rentals were available and featured race-competitive quality boats. The regatta had a total of 304 participants.

The USA Masters Games is slated to be a biennial games with the inaugural edition July 21-31, 2016 in Greensboro, NC. In addition to high-quality, “Nationals-level” competitions in each sport, the USA Masters Games will feature Opening Ceremonies, Closing Ceremonies, nightly entertainment, and a Games Village. Serving as the Games Village location and central hub of the Games will be the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, where up to 8 sports, Athlete Services, Vendor Village, and Closing Ceremonies are planned. Rowing will take place on Oak Hollow Lake in High Point, North Carolina. As a masters event, participants must be 21 years of age by the first day of competition.Registration Closed -

In the new two-day format, college crews race on Saturday along with the majority of elite and masters rowers, while high schools, and other elite, masters and veteran rowers reign on Sunday. For the first time, the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta will partner with the Gold Cup Foundation to bring the top male and female scullers from around the world for a competition on the Schuylkill River, and a corporate challenge race for local companies.Registration Closed -

Regatta · 1 member going · 1 followingFollowing the cancellation of the the EuroGames Stockholm 2015 Rowing Regatta, a small queer regatta is being organized by Danish rowers (and GLRF members) Adrian and Rune at Sweden's top rowing course, Magelungen. They have been working with Stockholms Röddförening (Stockholm Rowing Club) to borrow boats. The track is situated approximately 15 km south of central Stockholm. The course is planned for 1,000 meters. The planned races will use two boats in the following categories: 4X, 4-, 8+, and 2X. A contribution of €15 /SEK 140 per person per boat category is requested for the races.Registration Closed -

The race will take the form of a 3,000 meter head race along a 1,500 meter course. Boats will turn around a buoy at the far end of the basin and race back to the starting line. One category of competition will be offered: 4x+. Rowers will gather at 09:00h. for lineups and a coxswain meeting. Racing will follow. Results will be posted at 13:00h. A picnic, organized by the gay sailing club, Voile et Croisière en Liberté , will follow the race at 1300h at the basin. Spectators will have access to the large, sunny deck at the boathouse to soak in the rays and watch the race. There is no charge to watch the race.Registration Closed -

Regatta · 0 members going · 0 followingThe regatta will offer two "levels" of racing: participation-based where crews are drawn from a random pool and open events where crews can self select, or be drawn from the pool. The participation based events will most likely be held in regulation boats (known in the northern hemisphere as C boats). The quad event may be an exception to this category. The following are the projected boat categories: 1x MF (participation and open) 4x+ MFX (participation and open) 4+ MF (participation and open) 8+ MFX (participation and/or just open) Racing will be run over a 400m. course in a time trial format with the two fastest crews in each category racing off for gold and silver medals. It is envisioned that racing will begin around 4.30pm and finish by 7.00pm. Rowers will retire to either the Richmond Rowing Club or the Yarra Yarra RC to witness an authentic Australian butchering of the pig followed immediately by the consumption of copious quantities of alRegistration Closed -
