GLRF 2.0 Connections - Members Preview

New to the GLRF 2.0 community platform is Connections, a section devoted to connecting our worldwide membership.  

Within Connections, there are five features: Members, Events, Share A Link, Groups, and Forums.  The Members feature is a combination of the old GLRF Countries and the separate Find A Member service on the old platform.  By clicking on Members, you can instantly see all the countries with GLRF members and a quick profile of the member count, the number of GLRF-defined geographic regions, the number of metroareas where members are located, and the number of local groups. 

In the video below, you can see the features of a given GLRF country.  In this situation, we are showcasing GLRF Canada.  One of the biggest new additions is the introduction of a country moderator(s).  Yes, there can be one or several.  These moderators can facilitate connections by sending emails to a metroarea, to a region, or even to all members in the country.  We see the country moderators as facilitators to help connect the GLRF communities.
