Event Information Registration fee: 35 Euro - registration link Location: Base Nautique de Choisy-le-Roi, Choisy-le_Roi, Val-de-Marne, France Sunday, June 12: Race Information Rowers are invited to compete in a friendly and informal head-style relay, otherwise known as a stake race (régate au piquet). The race will take the form of a 3,000 meter head race along a 1,500 meter course. Boats will turn around a buoy at the far end of the basin and race back to the starting line. A picnic will follow the race. One category of competition will be offered: 4x+. Schedule: 10:30 am: Arrival, welcome coffee 11 am team training 11:30 am Start of competition 1:30 p.m. Picnic Results will be posted at 13:00h. Boat Information Boats will be available for use by all competitors. At the present time, there are no practice sessions scheduled or available. Use of the boats is included in the entry fee. Discussion area for the stake boat race on the Der Norden calendar Who is this guy 'Benoit Aviron?' :blink: He's not a member of GLRF ... but he sent an email to various rowing folks earlier this month announcing the event. Maybe he's just a sports project manager. Shame he never actually contacted GLRF directly ... Who all is planning on going?
