The Adelaide Happy Wanderers have announced their hiking calendar for July. Winter is no time to hide indoors when there is so much greenery and colour to be enjoyed. The Adelaide Happy Wanderers love getting out into our beautiful countryside come rain or come shine.
The Happy Wanderers are one of SA’s longest-serving LGBTI social and sporting groups – and are certainly among the friendliest and most welcoming, with walkers of all ages taking to the trails for exercise, friendship and enjoyment.
On Sunday July 3, the group will be walking a section of the massive Lavender federation Trail. The whole trail leads from Murray Bridge in the south to Eudunda in the north. It’s a medium grade walk and to find out which section the guys will be walking, contact Walk Leader Warren on 8271 4986.
Then on Saturday July 16, the mob will descend on Monarto Zoo. You can book discounted tickets through the RAA or direct through Monarto Zoo. It’s marked Grade: Easy. For more information contact Walk Leader Keith on 8271 4986. You’ll need to RSVP to Keith by June 30 for this one.
