The Westboro Baptist Chrich is at it again. This time with plans to protest a NCAA basketball game because one of the players is gay. Derrick Gordon of Seton Hall is the first openly gay player in a NCAA men's basketball tournament game.
When news of Gordon’s inclusion in the game hit Westboro they took to social media with this:
However, Charles Barkley, a studio analyst for CBS and TBS was has come out against the radical church saying he hopes people take action against the protest: "I really hate them sumbitches," Barkley said. "Hopefully, somebody will beat the hell out of those Westboro people."
Barkley advised that Gordon should "ignore the haters" and it seems as if Barkley has done just that.
