Australia’s first out gay bobsledder has just requalified for a place in the national team. Sportsman and pin-up hunk Simon Dunn recently posted on Facebook:

“This day 12 months ago I was asked to try out for the Australian Bobsleigh team. I think I can safely say it has been a truly amazing adventure and I look forward to many more years representing my country!”

In July this year Dunn topped UK Attitude magazine’s list of the Hottest 100 gay men, telling the media, “If I can make one young gay teen see that sexuality shouldn't be a factor in sport – that’s a win in itself.”

Dunn, who also plays for the Sydney Convicts gay and inclusive rugby union team, made a video of his time last week at the Sliding Sports Australia Testing Camp.
