Will You Row In Stockholm?

The Queerschlag Berlin rowing team and many of you have been competing in the Outgames Antwerpen/Gent in 2013 and/or in Copenhagen in 2009. In 2015 the EuroGames Stockholm Rowing Championship are announced to take place from 7th to 8th August in the Swedish Capital and it would be great to see each other again!

 

There are quite a number of Queerschlag rowers (male/female) interested in taking part. However, we do remember that the event in Gent - which was organised by local rowing clubs without special interest in the queer aspect of the Games - took place under suboptimal conditions. After the wonderful Outgames in Copenhagen, this was a little disappointing and may have an effect on further queer rowing events, especially the EuroGames Stockholm.

 

This experience in mind and since Rowing in Stockholm is dependent on an adequate number of participants, we would like to ask you: What are your thoughts/feelings about the EuroGames Stockholm? Will the Swedish rowing event be more like the one in Gent or in Copenhagen? Will many of you take part? Have you registered already?

Yes, already registered.

 

At least two rowers from Denmark have confirmed and at least 5 rowers from Paris.
