Regatta Registration Entry Forms

Recommended Posts

Attached are the files to be used to submit entries for the Outgames regatta. There are two files: one should be used to submit entries for the Senior and Masters races on Saturday, and the other should be used to submit entries for the Open races on Sunday.

Senior applies to the average age category of 18 - 26 yo, and the Masters races use the FISA standard age ranges. Open means anyone can enter, regardless of age.

Keep in mind that you should submit a separate file for EACH event that you would like to enter. Obviously your coach or team captain or boat captain can submit the entries for you. What we are trying to say is that if you are competing in an 8+, the regatta secretary does not need eight different files for the same boat. And really, if you did that, the secretary would think there are 8 separate entries!!!!

BUT .. keep in mind that everyone must be marked as paid in full for both the participant fee and the rowing sports fee or the entry will not be accepted.

If you have any question who has or has not paid, we can provide you a list or check a name.

Post here if you if have any questions.

We strongly suggest you download the files, either from here or from the email you get from the sports department, and then open it, and immediately perform a save as and use a team name + the boat type + the original file name.

It usually works best if you use the boat captains name but that's your call.

Here is an example: obama.barak_4x_WOGA 2013 ENTRY FORM - SATURDAY 0803

WOGA 2013 ENTRY FORM - SATURDAY 0803.xlsx

WOGA 2013 ENTRY FORM - SUNDAY 0804.xlsx

The Outgames sports department said to send the entries to their rowing email box but we would suggest sending the entries directly to the Regatta Committee: wogarowing2013@gmail.com

Well, yes, the club can submit the entries but ... you need to submit a separate form for each entry. The regatta secretary would like you to send multiple attachments, with each file detailing the names and ages for each rower for that one event.

Hi Brian!

Thanks for all this!

Am I correct in understanding that we will only see a draft race program once all registrations have been received?

Some of my crews are asking about the feasibility of participating in three races in one day.

Is the 500m dash races still going on?

Will there be registrations for those too?

Love from Paris where the team has been doing 1000m and 500m erg tests ;-)

Hi Adrian,

yes, I think your conclusion is correct - a draft race program will come out after all the registrations have been submitted.

The regatta secretary said he would do his utmost to arrange the races in such a manner so as to prevent conflicts among the entries.

Remember there is a maximum of 4 entries per person for the total regatta.

Yes, the 500m dash is still going on and registration for that event will happen onsite on Sunday.

Some of us are doing some high altitude training to be better prepared for L'Equipe Paris de Vitesse.
