Los Angeles Area Clubs

Hey all! I'm visiting Los Angeles, California through Monday, May 7 and was wondering if there are any clubs in the area that I could link up with and who wouldn't mind showing a fellow oarsman how Los Angelens row! I hail from Chicago Rowing Union [ www.chicagorowingunion.org ] and am curious to create stronger ties with our hearty Midwest club with west coasters. Any help?

Welcome to SoCal! I'm buried in GLRF tax return work right now. For strengthening ties, I'd suggest joining the West Hollwyood Oars http://whoars.glrf.info group here on GLRF, and give Jamie a shout, @jcrewman.

 

Speaking of strengthening ties, have a look at the Chicago Rowing Union group on here. Craig started it but it is kind of less than networkable, being private. Maybe ask him to make it public or if you join and want to become an admin and Craig is less than interested in doing anything with it anymore, I can bump you up. http://cru.glrf.info
