    • Why do you call yourselves a federation?

      Our organization is a collection of communities:

      1. first, we have a worldwide individual membership community
      2. next, we have separate geographic communities based on all the countries where we have members
      3. and then we have separate demographic communities for the main aspects of rowing

    • Why don't you call yourself an association?

      Associations are like tennis clubs with dues paying members and the like
