I have been asked if I would mind setting up this group, with the as yet unremarkable name of the London Women’s Group. Any better suggestions gratefully received.

 

There are a lot of us out there. It would be fabulous to make contact.

Hello. I'm in Cambridge, rowing my socks off on the Cam numerous times a week :-)

I used to row at Sons and at Kingston when I was a nipper

I can get down to London to row if we could get a women's boat out. In any case it would be lovely to meet up with some more lezzie boaties (my club is v straight...)

Sorry for the lack of activity. Life got in the way of checking on here. I have now moved out of London- to East Anglia- but am happy to continue to try (ineffectually) to be a contact point for Lesbian rowers. I'm just hoping that the lack of activity means that clubs & crews are much more accepting than they ever were back in the day.
